Hi! I’m interested in the MP2015. I have CDJ400s, which I think have 16bit S/PDIF outputs (or rather, someone on the pioneer website says “The CDJ400 supports 16/44.1 on the digital out”). My question is if these CDJs are also compatible with the MP2015’s which is 24bit??? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just want to make sure before I spend $$$. Thanks!

Digital is digital- using a $100 cable or the “come with the CDJ” $1 cable… it’s all the same cause digital is either there or not at all (analog cracks/crunches/fades). I used an old CDJ400 once with the MP2015 and worked fine, the old CDJ100s also worked but limited features (that was 1998) :D

The MP2015 can accept a wide variety of SPDIF input rates and bit depths.  The gain structure and unity for the channel trims is wonky right now, but other than that you’ll be fine.
